Shelly Petnov-Sherman

Shelly has over thirty years experience working as a therapist, and her private practice specialises in providing psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, crisis and brief goal-oriented psychotherapy for adults, children and adolescents.  Consultation, assessment, diagnose with specialisations incest, trauma, abuse, trauma, mid-life transitions as well as parenting and ageing.  Shelly is a passionate advocate of therapy being available to all and has a long history of working pro-bono with NYC-based non-profit organisations such as HealthRight International, The Fostering Connection, The Disaster Counseling Coalition Inc.

Prior to retraining as a therapist, Shelly worked at Elektra/Asylums Records, Lifesong Records, Millenium Records, and was also responsible for the advertising support for tours at Elektra Records.
