Stuart is delighted to be part of MITC, having worked in elite sport for Professor Steve Peters Chimp Management company from 2012, and then setting up his private practice (Focused Mind Coaching) in 2016 after the Rio Olympic games. During his time in the music industry, Stuart promoted and organised events in London, Barcelona and helped set up the Electric Elephant festival in Croatia. Late nights, tight deadlines, last-minute changes of schedule and understanding the anxieties and pressures of the music business are all factors Stuart has first-hand experience of. Whilst the industry can be incredibly fun, Stuart understands that human emotion and behaviour of people pressure can appear fun and games but isn’t always the case for those delivering the entertainment.

Whether it is helping athletes spend years getting ready for ‘the big event’ of an Olympics, or supporting 4th-year music students prepare for their make or break final recitals, Stuart’s specialism is helping people perform under pressure to be better equipped psychologically and emotionally to handle stress, challenge, and change.

A keen music fan, Stuart keeps himself involved in production with his own podcast interviewing leaders in their field to understand their mindset, life and psychology interviewing athletes, DJs, writers, coaches, and musicians as well as occasional DJing.
