Jennifer Stafford
Psychotherapist (MA, LMHC, LPCC)
About me
I am a licensed psychotherapist, mental health choreographer, self-love teacher, resilience hustler, author and philosophical poet practicing in New York and California. After a childhood of following my father around to reggae concerts up and down the coast of California and that one time in Montego Bay, I found myself in NYC working with the psyches of musicians as they penned their pain into musical masterpieces. As my private practice grew, I began working with creative directors, festival founders, publicists and managers in the entertainment arena. My passion lives in the psychology of the mind and how the human heart dances with the soul. |
My background
With cultural competence and action oriented awareness, I support the development of efficient, effective and sustainable systemic change. I help clients learn how to reconnect with self-love from deep within. I specialize in teaching people how to hold a space for their own humanity, regardless of what external stressors they may be facing. |
Working with me
I teach mindfulness around mental health. From creative blocks to relationship troubles, communication issues to childhood trauma, I assist my clients in the incorporation of valuable tools and strategies to navigate emotional obstacles while maintaining cognitive clarity. In working together, we turn wounds into wisdom and vulnerability into vitality. |
