Lucy Kozak Cesnik
Lucy Kozak Cesnik (she/her), MMFT, is a cisgender, white descendant of European immigrants who came to the U.S. in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She is in long-term recovery from substance use disorder, a business owner, therapist, and an accomplished entertainment business executive who lives with her husband and two daughters in Nashville, TN.
Lucy has worked with some of the world’s leading entertainment companies: Beats by Dre, Creative Artists Agency, and Live Nation Entertainment/Ticketmaster. Her innovative marketing work with many of the most influential creators, performers, athletes, and brands around the world during two decades as an agent at Creative Artists Agency was recognized in Billboard Magazine, Forbes, and the Nashville Business Journal (Tim McGraw, Luke Combs, Katy Perry, Florence & The Machine, Jared Leto, Zac Brown Band, Jonas Brothers, George Lopez, Chelsea Handler, and Stevie Wonder and more).
Inspired by events in the pandemic, and after earning a Graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling, Lucy pivoted to the mental health field in 2021. Now, Lucy works with adult individuals, couples, and groups in her private practice in West Nashville, online via telehealth throughout Tennessee, and in Nashville residential treatment centers that serve clients from around the country. She holds level 1 certification in IFS and advanced training in couples therapy and psychodrama. She is an expert in adaptive patterns and in IFS therapy which she uses to help clients achieve lasting change through individual therapy, group therapy, and as a consultant to residential treatment centers. The mission of her business is to help her clients live lives they are proud of by unlocking their potential and removing constraints to change.
