After 10 years working in the live music industry as a venue, festival and event booker, grants advisor, artist manager and tour manager, Tamsin Embleton BA (Hons), MA, MBACP now works as an attachment-based psychodynamic psychotherapist. She runs a private practice in London and specialises in working with musicians & music industry at all stages of their careers, from emerging artists to household names. Tamsin is currently researching the psychological impact of touring and will be using her findings to create best practice documents to support artists and crew with the myriad psychological pressures that occur both on and off the road.

Tamsin trained at the Bowlby Centre, Regent’s & Birkbeck universities, and has attended courses at the Anna Freud Centre (MBT), the Institute for Psychoanalysis & the Clinic for Dissociative Studies. She spent several years working with out patients at an NHS hospital and is a member of both the the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation and the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation.

Tamsin’s specialises in working with the legacy of childhood trauma, neglect, attachment difficulties and adverse childhood experiences – including working with those grappling with addiction, complex trauma, diagnoses of personality disorders and issues with relationships.
