About me

As a therapist specialising in the music industry, I understand the unique pressures and challenges you face. My integrative humanistic approach combines various therapeutic techniques tailored to your individual needs, fostering a safe space for self-exploration and growth. With a deep appreciation for the creative process, I aim to support musicians and industry professionals in navigating the emotional complexities of their careers.

Whether you’re dealing with performance anxiety, creative blocks, or the ups and downs of artistic life, my goal is to help you reclaim your passion and resilience. I also have a keen interest in mindfulness practices and emotional well-being, which can enhance your creative expression. Together, we’ll work on strategies to manage stress, improve mental health, and cultivate a fulfilling relationship with your artistry. Let’s embark on this journey towards greater self-awareness and empowerment in your music career.

My background

With over 20 years’ experience in the music industry, I co-founded a successful artist management company in Germany, where we negotiated deals with major players like Sony and Universal, as well as independent labels. Our journey began as an American-British couple with a unique venture – a disco boat ride along the Rhine – which sparked our passion for music management. Over the past decade, we’ve managed a diverse roster of artists, arranged tours, and video shoots, traveling the world alongside our clients. Our independent label, focused on hip-hop, R&B, and reflected our commitment to fostering emerging talent.

This extensive background in both management and creative collaboration allows me to understand the complexities artist face, enabling me to provide tailored support for those navigating the unique challenges of the music business. I’m dedicated to helping artists thrive in their careers while maintaining their artistic integrity.

Working with me

Working with me is a collaborative and personalised experience. I adopt a Person-Centered approach, allowing you to decide what to bring to each session. Our work can be structured or flexible, depending on your needs. I integrate psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and transactional analysis to create a dynamic therapeutic environment.

Sessions can be time-limited or open-ended, providing you with the space to explore issues at your own pace. Central to my practice is the therapeutic alliance, fostering a strong relational approach built on trust and openness. I also incorporate spiritual elements when relevant, supporting your holistic well-being. Whether you seek structured guidance or a more fluid exploration of your thoughts and feelings, my goal is to empower you to navigate your challenges and enhance your creative journey in the music industry.
